If I were a cup, I’d be spilling all over the floor right now, so full am I with the love showered on me in the last several days. Kevin bought me these woolly boots for my birthday to keep my feet toasty after my swims and I’ve been wearing them constantly. My feet are exquisitely cushioned inside, cradled in warmth and comfort. That’s how I feel today: surrounded by loving thoughts and deeds; words, gifts, and songs; a million kindnesses from near and far. I’m profoundly grateful for my community.

This morning I took my last swim in Tomales Bay before heading back home. It was my first high tide swim here and the water was noticeably colder. But it was gorgeous to be in the middle of the bay, surrounded by green hills. So grateful for this, too.
