Today I finally got to swim with my larger Albany Bulb swimming community and it felt so good.

During COVID I purposefully went when no one would be there and since then one thing or another has prevented me from going when most folks are jumping in. Also, since COVID—actually since before that since my road trip consisted of very cold water swims—my swimming has been short, slow, and leisurely.
Today I worked harder and swam longer than I have in a while, which is an easy thing to do when surrounded by a bunch of great people doing the same thing. Other things that made it easy were the calm water, the warmth, and the very low tide that encouraged getting into deeper water as soon as possible.
