Eliza arrived at the lake today! She’s been home in Berkeley working all summer and the world feels like a better place now that all four of us are back together under one roof, at least for a little while. 

Eliza joined me for the first part of my swim and I got to vicariously experience the utter joy that is that first jump in the lake after a year away from this beautiful place (and a long night of traveling). 

Lulu wasn’t happy with our shenanigans and nearly got worried enough to join us, but only made it up to her shoulders. 

After a while, I swam off to do my thing while Eliza went in for a nap.

I swam around the bay, much the same as yesterday, though without the worries about thunderstorms (despite the impressive cloud action).
