A beautiful thick fog greeted us for our swim at the Albany Bulb this morning.

I love a foggy swim, the way it erases all the familiar landmarks and you feel like you could be anywhere. I love the muffled feeling to the air, the mystery, the peacefulness that seems to settle over everything when the fog comes in.

We saw the seal several times and didn’t even panic the way we use to. Are we braver than we once were or is it the calming effect of the fog? I tried to get a picture, but it looks like one of those Loch Ness monster sightings.
