Wrapping up my Lac Louisa time with one last post. This year, I came late and stayed late. I experienced less of the peak summer fun and more of late summer restoration. I feel like my body and soul have rested and rejuvinated in ways I haven’t experienced in years. Peace, solitude, and lake swimming are some powerful elixirs.

For the last month or so, I’ve been taking a photo every day from more or less the same spot as I’ve gotten into the water to capture the change.

The water temperature spanned 82° to 65°, with the coldest days happening a few weeks ago during a cold rain. Today was 67°.
