I went for a late morning swim with Charlotte at the Albany Bulb. It was a gorgeous sunny day. The water was calm when we arrived and a couple of swimmers were drying off, bubbling with the excitement that comes from a beautiful swim. 

As we made our way in, the glassy water turned more rippling, though no less calm. It was a crisp 59 degrees, but under the bright sun that didn’t feel especially cold. We swam and chatted. At one point, a swimmer was powering out to us and when she got close we saw that it was Arwen! 

We swam back in together and met up with Angie just as we were getting out.
