Invisible Moonset (Day 283)

Sheila, Angie, and I went out for an early swim this morning. We met up with Colleen and Kaushik, though they quickly left us behind. I am especially slow to get in these days!

We were hoping for a full moon set at the Albany Bulb; my mind was full of visions from the last time we witnessed the full moon setting over the Golden Gate Bridge while the sun rose up from behind the Berkeley hills.

Alas, it was just gray skies meeting gray water this morning. Nevertheless, we had a lovely swim.

I’ve been experimenting with sprinting for a hundred strokes and then relaxing until I have my breath back. It’s pretty fun and it keeps me warm while also giving me time to take photos and chat with my friends.
