Arwen and I met up at Keller this evening for a gorgeous, wild, sunset swim. The wind was racing and the bay roiling.

Inside, though, the water was warmer than it’s been over at the bulb—55-degrees. Not sure if it’s the location or the time of day, but 55 felt nearly warm.
It was impossible not to frolic and play in the waves. Bouncy and splashy, they made me feel like a little kid or maybe an otter. After playing for a while, we swam for a bit. We never quite know where to go or what the landmarks are at Keller and so we kind of just swim around, which is fine.

More than fine tonight, because the spectacle of sunset grew more beautiful by the second and I kept stopping to gawk and take pictures.
